Events
School events bring learning to life and help shape our school culture. They help students build confidence, connect with others and celebrate their progress. Events also give families a chance to be involved in school life and share in their child’s achievements.
Our school events may include:
- school orientation days
- sports carnivals
- school tours
- Harmony Week and Book Week events
- excursions and incursions
- performances, concerts or assemblies
- fundraising, charity and community events
- award assemblies
- graduation and other celebrations.
Book Week
Book Week is a special time at our school where we celebrate a love of reading. Students take part in fun dress up activities and parents & carers are invited into the school to share in the fun.
Visiting our school
Please contact the school to make a time for a personalised visit with your student.
Parent and Carer Cafe
Each term, parents and carers are welcomed into our school cafe to connect and chat. Coffee and morning teas are free. Often we will have a speaker.
Term 4 2025 Speaker was Fiona from Unity, speaking about the NDIS supports available to families.
P&C meetings
Tirriwirri School is a newly established school, and we are continuing to build parent involvement in our school. As yet, we do not hold regular P&C meetings. If you would like to be involved, please contact the Principal.
